Welcome to the Speech & Hearing Month Kids’ hub!
Here, you’ll find resources and activities to help get your children and younger clients involved.
Being well into the third wave of the pandemic, Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) understands that the landscape of practice and life in general continues to be challenging. We are aware of the significant stress experienced by our members and associates during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we know many are working long hours to provide front-line care in difficult conditions and that others are working from home while supporting their own children’s learning.
Given that many members and associates are not physically seeing patients or clients due to the pandemic, SAC has developed a Kids’ Contest toolkit to make it very easy for you to share the contest with your clients. We encourage you to use the toolkit to share our activity sheets with them electronically.
Each year, we host a Kids’ Contest to encourage young people to share their experiences of working with communication health professionals.
If you work with children under the age of 11, be sure to encourage them to participate. You can find the contest entry forms below – just click on the thumbnail to download the form.
The Speech & Hearing Month Kids’ Contest is now closed.
